TODO Inc. is a small startup company based in Osaka, Japan. Established in the spring of 2025, we specialize in the manufacturing, design, and sale of fishing equipment. Our primary focus is on planning, creating, and selling soft lures, importing and distribution overseas products, and providing OEM(custom make-to-order) manufacturing services.
Japan, as an island nation surrounded by the sea, has a rich history and culture deeply rooted in fishing. This is exemplified by the discovery of the world’s oldest fishing hook, made from a seashell, dating back 23,000 years. Across Japan, traditional fishing methods have been passed down through generations. Today, Japan’s fishing culture is diverse and innovative, often leading the way with avant-garde techniques and products that stand out even on a global scale.
While the world faces challenging times rising oil prices, inflation, and pressures on daily life fishing offers a unique escape. Spending time in nature, connecting with the sea, and catching fish bring feeling of joy and tranquility that words can hardly describe. Through fishing, we have had the privilege of meeting incredible people who have shared valuable insights and experiences with us. With the rise of social media, we’ve also connected with fishing enthusiasts around the world. One thing that stood out to us is the high demand for quality Japanese equipment overseas. Similarly, we’ve discovered an increasing number of international manufactures producing exceptional fishing gear. By engaging in conversations about our different environments and fishing traditions, we’ve developed new products rooted in mutual understanding and collaboration.
Even now, when we go fishing, we use products from a variety of manufacturers. In a world brimming with information, we dedicate ourselves to thorough market research, data analysis, and prioritizing usability from a consumer’s perspective.
